Arenys de Munt presenta els Segadors a ritme de... →
A group of Argentinians (from Río de la Plata) from the town of Arenys de Munt in Barcelona has created a version of the Catalan national anthem “Els Segadors” as a tango.  It will be performed on Saturday in the town, but can be heard by following the link. Arenys de Munt was the first town to hold votes for the referendum for Catalan independence in 2009.

The “Ciutat de Barcelona” awards are awarded to the “best creative, investigative and productive projects of the city” annually.  This year the gala will be held on 15 February in the Saló de Cent in the Ajuntament.
